Safe Travels With Slime Flat Tire Repair Kits

With so many things going on in our day-to-day lives, there are a lot of things that should be considered more often that go unnoticed.  How often do you think about your spare tire?  Or even just a flat tire?  Probably never, right?  If you live in a rural area like I do, this is actually something that I think about on a weekly basis.  My home is pretty isolated from much of everything, and it’s a 25 mile journey one way through VERY unpopulated terrain to the closest town with grocery stores.

The pictures above are from my journey into town to go grocery shopping (don’t worry, I was the passenger, not the driver).  I typically drive these roads alone during the week, and every single time I drive anywhere, I’m ALWAYS worried about a flat tire.  I do not know how to change a tire (I’m spoiled I guess, my husband is the one who does the vehicle maintenance), and as you can see from my pictures, if I were to ever get a flat tire alone I’d be stuck in a position I don’t want to be in.  There are 5 miles of dirt roads between my home and the main road that runs through my tiny town, and sharp rocks and washboard ridges on these roads are always a concern of mine.  The cellular service here is spotty at best, so it’s not likely I could call anyone for help.  Walking to anywhere would be next to impossible in the Arizona heat…so what’s a girl supposed to do?

The Slime Flat Tire Repair Kit has been the answer to all of my worries.  In just 10 minutes I can repair my tire and get back on the road safely again.  This kit is the simplest thing to use, and I can’t tell you how incredibly grateful I am for the peace of mind this kit being in my truck has given me.  You simply plug the unit into your vehicle’s lighter plug, and instantly a mix of sealant and air are pumped into your tire, sealing any punctures and repairing the tire.  The repair lasts up to 500 miles so there’s plenty of time to get to a service station.

So, two days ago I got ready and headed out into town to get some groceries.  It wasn’t too long into my drive and whadya know…one of those pesky rocks decided to try and throw a monkey wrench into my day.  I had a flat tire, and there was no better time to put the Slime Flat Tire Repair Kit to the test.  I was able to hook the repair kit up to my tire with no problems, and sure enough, in about 10 minutes my tire was ready to go.  I made it into town safely and stopped at a service station, but had it not been for the Slime Flat Tire Repair Kit I would’ve been in a pretty bad predicament.  If you ever have to rely on your Slime Flat Tire Repair Kit, just remember that it will work with your vehicle off, but if the vehicle is running it works even better.
