Delightfully Fun Easter Gifts From Peaceable Kingdom

Peaceable Kingdom is a company that makes some of the greatest games I’ve come across.  The Peaceable Kingdom games both inspire cooperation, and cultivate kindness.  When kids can play well together, they can play well in the world.  I was very impressed with the Peaceable Kingdom games that we tried out last year and I couldn’t wait to partner with them again for this coming Easter!

Whether you’re looking for larger gifts or basket appropriate items, there’s no wrong way to go with Peaceable Kingdom!

Hoot Owl Hoot is a fun game that is easy enough for my 5 year old to play, but still enough of a challenge that myself and my sons don’t mind playing with my little one.  In this fun owl themed game, players help the owls fly back to their nest before the sun comes up.  Play a color card and fly to that space.  Draw a sun card, and you’re one step closer to the daylight.  Help all the owls get home before the sun rises and everyone wins!  There are quite a few suns and we have to go through the color card pile a couple times so we reduce the sun cards by half so it’s not so frustrating for my youngest 🙂 .

Cupcake Checkers is exactly what you would expect it to be…checkers!  This classic yet fun game gets a whole new look in this cupcake rendition of the classic we all know and love.   The rules haven’t changed but Peaceable Kingdom has added magnets to the checkers so they will stay stacked when “kinged.”

We are a busy family of 5 who are usually on-the-go so I was really excited to try out the Write & Wipe Games to Go with my daughter!  (There are a few different styles available, my daughter chose the Fairies, Mermaids, and Princesses…of course.)  This book has hours of activities that have kept my daughter entertained in the car which is a heaven send.  We live in a rural town and it’s a minimum 30 minute drive to the closest anything, and this book has made the long trek much more tolerable.  Games include Fairy Wand Match Up, Mermaid Maze, Princess Pictures, Magic Mirror Predictions and more!

Match up games are a great way to help my little one build her brain power and the Zoo Animals Match Up Game And Puzzle were a huge hit!  You have the option of playing a memory game and matching up all the animals, or you can use the backs of the cards to build a super fun puzzle.  Vibrant illustrations encourage color and zoo animal recognition and building a giant puzzle adds to the fun.  (Don’t mind the cat…I think she wanted to fit in with her animal kin.)

For now, the only card game my daughter can play is Go Fish, but she absolutely loves the flair these cute little pups add to our game.  The Puppies Playing Cards are a full deck of 52 cards with the added cuteness of puppies…what could be better?!

Every little girl needs a diary, and what could be better than a customizeable diary that she can color herself?  This Pretty Pony Color With Markers Diary will  be sure to delight any little one who’s lucky enough to receive it.  My daughter hasn’t seen this one yet…this will be tucked away as a special surprise in her Easter basket and I can’t wait to see her face when she find it!  With this pretty diary all you have to do is grab your favorite markers and get ready to color!  All of the white space on the cover of the diary is ready to be decorated to your heart’s content.  All of the purple borders are shiny holographic foil that make for a delightfully fun look.

Make sure you check out all that Peaceable Kingdom has to offer this Easter…you AND your little one will not be disappointed.
