Start Every Day With A Victory…Victory Shampoo #Review

Every guy needs a great way to start the day…why not start the day with a victory?  VICTORY anti-dandruff shampoo, that is.  VICTORY is a bold, contemporary, and irreverent anti-dandruff shampoo that gives guys a confident new choice in therapeutic hair care.  With a husband and 2 sons in the house, I couldn’t wait to get some VICTORY in the house for them to try out.

VICTORY was created to take your hair game to the next level with the powerful dandruff formula you need in a shampoo you actually want. With VICTORY, you start each day with a win. A complete domination of dandruff. And when you put up a “W’ before breakfast, that winning feeling carries over into the rest of your day.

The dark blue bottle pictured is the Superior Clean formula.  It not only gets rid of dandruff, but also prevents recurrence of flaking and itchiness associated with dandruff.  Hydrate & Recover (aqua colored bottled) is sort of like a sports drink for your scalp.  Hydrate & Recover contains a special moisture balancing formula with added almond oil for optimal scalp hydration and recovery to relieve dryness. It will moisturize your dry scalp while reducing oiliness.  Legendary (silver bottle)  provides a rich lather that deep cleans both hair and scalp PLUS conditioner gives your hair epic softness.  Triple Threat (orange bottle) will prevent dandruff, clean your hair and scalp, and has a fresh mango scent. It’s the ultimate trifecta with 1% Pyrithione Zinc to help relieve and prevent scalp dryness, itchiness, flakes and irritation associated with dandruff.  Triple Threat was the favorite of both of my sons due to the fresh, light mango scent.

After having VICTORY in our household, there’s no way that we’re ever running out.  My husband and my sons have been using VICTORY for just about a week now and they all have loved the way their hair feels, smells, and most of all that it’s flake free!  One of my local Wal-Mart’s is one of the top 10 sellers of VICTORY and it’s easy to see why.  It’s affordable, effective, and great for men (or teens) of all ages.

Lola The Therapy Dog Book Series #Review

Meet Marcia Goldman and Lola the therapy dog.  Marcia has her Masters Degree in Special Education and has spent the last 25 years focusing on providing therapeutic-based programs for children with autism and their families.  Lola is a five-pound Yorkshire Terrier who lives in California with her adoring owners. She is a proudly certified therapy dog who makes weekly visits to elder care centers, bookstores, and classrooms.  Together Marcia and Lola have created a wonderful book series that helps educate children about therapy animals.

I received books from the series and my daughter loves learning all about Lola.  We also received a cute little plush Lola to go along with the books!

In Lola Goes To School, Lola has her first day at Doggy Daycare. Like anyone new to preschool or kindergarten, she’s a little bit nervous, a little bit scared, and very excited.  Children will identify with Lola as she faces first-day-of-school jitters…perfect for my 4 year old who will be attending kindergarten next year.

Lola Goes To Work is a great book to show children how through hard work and determination, anyone (no matter how small) can achieve their goals.  Lola is a little terrier with a big job! Children will identify with the feisty Lola as she struggles going to school, passing tests, and finally achieving her Big Dog dream. If Lola can make it in a world of Great Danes and Labradors, so can anybody who’s feeling like a runt.

Lola Goes To The Doctor is a great way to help children overcome their fear of the doctor.  Children will identify with Lola as she nervously waits to be called into the doctor’s office.  Kids will see how Lola is brave through her doctor’s visit, and that they can be brave too.

Last but not least, Lola and Tattletale Zeke is a great way to teach children how to deal with tattletales, and when to tell an adult.  Lola struggles with her little brother Zeke and his tattletale behavior in this sequel to Lola Goes to Work.

Marcia and Lola are a favorite among many children and families, and once you read the Lola books, you’ll see why.  These books are full of great lessons behind fun stories that children enjoy.
