Week 34 is here and so are new Nutrisystem menu items! I’m so glad they’re here! Unfortunately, last week I only lost 0.2 lbs, and I feel I’m in a bit of a slump. I’ve been following on plan completely, but relying on just a few staple powerfuels and smart carbs because I’m a creature of habit and stick with what I like. Most of my protein has been coming from dairy items which can tend to make the scale move at a snails pace. Time to switch up my staple foods with fun, new options and see what happens.
Nutrisystem has made it quite easy to switch up some of the menu items they offer. There were a few new menu items available when I placed my order and I couldn’t wait to try them all! The Baked Blueberry Oatmeal is super delicious and filling…it’s the perfect balance of protein and fiber to keep me fueled and ready for the day. At the end of a long day, there’s nothing better than getting to still indulge in a yummy snack. The Tiramisu is absolutely amazing! A really rich flavor with just the right hint of mocha. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie is out-of-this-world good. Just the thing to keep a chocoholic like me on track!
I’m like the little engine that could, telling myself “I think I can, I think I can”, and I know I’ll reach my goal with Nutrisystem by my side. Stick with me next week and hopefully there will be some better change in the scale 🙂 .
