Week 26 On Nutrisystem…Keeping Up With Those All Important Veggies #NSNation #Ad

Wow, time just keeps on flying huh?  Week 26 is here and I’m so ready to get back to life where 4th of July goodies aren’t shoved in my face.  I surprised myself this holiday weekend and was able to resist all temptation, including the birthday cake I made for my son!  This week I lost another 1.2 lbs to bring me to a total of 38 lbs!!  I can’t believe I’m only 2 lbs away from earning my 40 lb Nutribear!

A big part of the Nutrisystem program is making sure you get your minimum of 4 non-starchy veggies a day.  Usually I’m pretty good about getting all my veggies in but this past week for one reason or another it was just impossible to get in all my veggie servings every day.  I did notice that my weight loss wasn’t as high as usual (although still considered in the ‘average’ range), I felt sluggish, my body didn’t feel at it’s best, and I felt a little more tired than a mom of 3 children like myself usually is.  I didn’t realize how important these nutrient packing veggies were until I started going without them.  This week I plan on beefing up my vegetable intake as well as mixing it up and trying new options prepared in different ways.  Never again will I slack on my veggie intake…Nutrisystem created it’s plan for a reason, and I guess I should’ve found a way to get all those veggies in.  Stay tuned and see how next week goes!  Hopefully I’ll have some new vegetable preparation ideas to share with all of you 🙂 .
