Week 22 on Nutrisystem is here and MAN am I ready to start the new week feeling much better than last week. Last week I was faced with a really bad case of bronchitis and was down for the count for a few days. Being so sick really took a toll on me and sadly did affect my loss for the week. I lost a mere 0.4 lbs this week to bring me to a grand total of 32 lbs! Still nothing to sneeze at, but I would’ve obviously liked to see the loss this week greater than it was.
There were a couple factors to affect me last week, but this week is a new week and I’m ready to leave last week’s poor loss in the dust. Eating right is a HUGE part of the Nutrisystem plan. There is balance and harmony and you need to eat EVERYTHING alotted for the day to have the plan work. During my bout with bronchitis there were 3 days were I was feeling so poor that I couldn’t really eat much. Those days I probably consumed a total of 300-400 calories each day, mostly bananas, because that’s all I could stomach when I could manage to get food in. I’m pretty positive so many days of such restricted calories set my body into starvation mode defeating pretty much my whole week . As if that weren’t enough to deal with, my ‘lady week’ is on the horizon and that does also affect the numbers on the scale as well (sorry guys!), but it is true. I was still able to see a decent loss on the tape measure and that’s a loss I’ll be happy to take.
^^These guys right here are why I’m so eager to get back to my old self this week. Getting healthier for them and being able to take them out and have fun adventures is worth it 🙂 . I hope you all continue on this journey with me 🙂 .
