Week 20 on Nutrisystem is here! Can you believe it?! What a journey it has been so far, and I’m so thankful that I started it! This week I’m down another 2 lbs for a total loss of 30 lbs!!! I can’t wait to see the cute little 30 lb Nutribear 🙂 .
I was recently asked if I ever get ‘bored’ of the food, so I figured what better time to address it than now? I wouldn’t say that I get bored of the food, but there ARE days where I crave something just a little different. There are plenty of ways to adjust the Nutrisystem meals so that you still stay on plan, have what you want, and keep losing weight.
I wanted to share a couple of ways I change up my meals so you can see just how easy it is. With my breakfast I get to add a powerfuel to the Nutrisystem entree, which in this case pictured I chose a nice healthy egg. I have been LOVING transforming the muffins into french toast using my morning powerfuel. I whip up my egg, dip the sliced muffin into the egg, and still have plenty of egg left to scramble up and enjoy. The thick crust pizza is PERFECT to transform into garlicky breadsticks. I ditch the red sauce and smear 1/2 tsp. softened butter on the crust. Add 1/2 clove of minced garlic, and top with the provided cheese. Cook as instructed on the back and you have some amazingly tasty breadsticks.
As you can see, it’s quite easy to change things up and create new foods that help curb some of your unhealthy cravings without ruining your progress. I still have 25 lbs left to my final goal weight, and I hope you all stay with me on this journey.
