Week 18 On Nutrisystem…Learning To Make Healthier Choices Through Flex Meals #NSNation #Ad

Week 18 on the Nutrisystem program is here and I am loving the results!  This week I lost 1.4 lbs for a total of 26.4 lbs!  I have never been this successful trying to lose weight, and I love how simple Nutrisystem has made the plan.  Taking out all of the guess work helps a busy mom like myself get healthy without a ton of planning.  During my time on Nutrisystem I have had one ‘flex’ lunch and dinner per week where I eat my own foods, following the Nutrisystem guidelines.  This has been a great tool to help me learn how to succeed as well as learn the proper way to maintain once I’ve reached my goal.

Flex meals can vary really widely, I have made chicken bacon ranch tacos, chicken breast salad, but for me nothing beats a nice plate of well cooked fish.  I like to cook mine in a foil pouch with lemon juice and fresh ingredients like garlic, onion, jalapeno, and cilantro.  A GREAT meal for me is a nice helping of salmon, brown rice, and veggies (usually my favorites…carrots or green beans).  My flex meals are always packed with protein and fiber keeping my gut happy, in balance, and keeping my energy level up throughout the day.
