If you’ve followed my blog for any amount of time, you’re already well aware of how much I love my Purex products. I recently got the opportunity to try out the new Purex Plus Clorox 2 and see if it could hold up to my mess-making household. I couldn’t wait to see how well it tackled the children, dog, and of course my overgrown-man-child of a husband.
The first thing I was excited about was the scent of the new Purex Plus Clorox 2 detergent. The scent is called Sunny Linen and smells like the freshest mountain air while clothes air dry in the spring. I LOVE laundry that smells so incredibly clean after I wash clothes so the scent is absolutely perfect.
I couldn’t decide what to wash first, but my puppy figured she would decide for me. The newest fur addition to our family is 7 weeks old and we’re still working on house training. She thought the dog bed looked like the perfect place to take a restroom break, so Purex Plus Clorox 2 to the rescue! I took the padding out of the dog bed and added some detergent straight onto the stain and let it sit for about 10 minutes before washing. After just one run through the washer the dog bed was good as new, and no stains!
Being a mother of 3 rambunctious kids, it was only a matter of time since my kids had stains for me to tackle. I figured what better way to prove to you that Purex Plus Clorox 2 works than showing you.
This is a shirt that I bought my son just TWO weeks ago. He can’t tell me what he got on it, so keep in mind I had no idea what kind of a stain I was trying to eliminate.
The solution to mystery stains? Pour the Purex Plus Clorox 2 directly on the stain, let sit ten minutes, then run through the wash as usual. So simple!
My son’s shirt came out looking good as new, and I’m so thankful to have been able to save the shirt rather than replace it.
All of my laundry has been coming out fresh and bright, and I’ll be making the permanent switch to Purex Plus Clorox 2 so my family and I are always looking (and smelling) our best.
