If you’re a parent, you know that there’s an awkward stage we go through with cups. You get stuck in that point where your child is too big for a sippy cup, but can’t yet drink out of the “big kid” cups. Reflo is the solution that I (and so many other parents) have been looking for.
Reflo is a restricted flow cup that allows your child to drink from the “big kid” style cup without making the hugest mess you’ve ever seen. The design is pretty genius. You get the same even flow of liquid 360 degrees, so your child won’t be frustrated looking for which part of the cup to drink from. I noticed that even having the Reflo cup has encouraged my daughter to eat more at meal time. She feels like she’s fitting in with her older brothers and getting to use the same style cup that they’re using. After you’re done using the cup insert and your child has the hang of using the cup regularly, the cup is perfect to use without the insert as well.
The shape of the cup allows for little ones to hold it well without slipping and falling. The only problem I really had was that my daughter (who is a typical 2 year old) had a tantrum and threw the cup down. Out flew the insert and the contents of the cup flew everywhere. (Just water thank goodness!) If there were a way to make the insert stay in place, it would be a lot better for those of us using these with pretty young children.
Reflo has also been generous enough to sponsor a giveaway! One lucky winner will receive a green Reflo cup! Giveaway will begin on 03/12/14 at 12:00 am EST and end on 03/19/14 at 12:00 am EST.
